Faith and Hope

This is a linocut or relief print. After altering the contrast of this image (i73.photobucket.com/albums/i21…) and carbon-tracing it onto linoleum, the linoleum was hand-chiseled, then inked and pressed by hand. Each print comes out slightly differently depending on the pressure of the hand-operated press and the degree of hand-inking.
